Photographic works from my series On Edge have been included in an exhibition at RMIT Design Hub Gallery in Melbourne. Suburban Realism - Scale Ability speculates that with a renewed civic and collective vision, Melbourne’s outer edge suburbs might rival its prized inner-city neighbourhoods. Through an exhibition, symposium and future publication SR-SA’s objective is to highlight the marginal nature of Melbourne’s outer suburban fringe in the architectural and planning community’s consciousness when it comes to imagining the city’s future. The exhibition takes place during Melbourne Design Week 2021.
